Storage tanks can contain anything from water to chemicals to petroleum, and in each case it could be extremely damaging if an accident occurred due to excessive corrosion. Also, LPG tanks are susceptible to corrosion and require regular thickness measurements to assess their condition.
The ability of Tritex multigauges to ignore coatings makes the inspection of large tanks quick and easy, with minimal expense. The multigauge 5500 is ideal to wear on the waist belt for rope access surveys or for climbing ladders or scaffolding.
