February 2010 - Oceanology International 2010 at London Excel

November 2009 - Multigauge 4000 Series ROV Thickness Gauges Launched

As part of Tritex NDT’s ongoing product development program, we are now pleased to announce the launch of our Multigauge 4000 series ROV thickness gauges for mounting onto most work class remotely operated vehicles (ROV). The range includes the Multigauge 4100 and Multigauge 4400 which are for use down to 1000m and 4000m respectively. These exiting new products mean that pipelines and subsea structures can be easily inspected in deep water applications, and without the need for using divers. The gauges have either an RS422 or RS232 output and are supplied with custom made software to display measurements on a laptop or PC as well as collect data including measurement values, date, time and location. As with all our products we offer a three year warranty and a free calibration service. The gauges are supplied as complete kits ready to use.

 

July 2009 - Multigauge 3100 Surface Display Unit Launched

Tritex NDT have launched their new Multigauge 3100 Surface Display Unit for use with the Multigauge 3000 Underwater Thickness Gauge as a Topside Repeater. The Surface Display Unit has bi-directional communication with the Multigauge 3000 which means that settings can be adjusted in the Multigauge 3000 without having to break the ‘O’ ring seals and also whilst the diver is underwater using the Multigauge 3000.  As well as repeating the reading, the Surface Display Unit also displays the remaining battery life in the Multigauge 3000, the echo signal strength, calibration data and the probe type being used. The Topside Repeater can be added onto any existing Multigauge 3000.

Ocean Eye will now be representing Tritex NDT in the North Eastern region of the United Sates for their range of Underwater Thickness Gauges. Ocean Eye supply dive equipment to commercial divers in the region and they have a good understanding of the the equipment and applications where the gauges are used. Their technical background and unique understanding means they are well suited for supporting our customers in the North Eastern territories.

Pommec has proven itself to be a leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment for the commercial diving industry and life saving equipment. They are located in the Netherlands near the Belgium border and supply into the Benelux region. Pommec have a demonstration Underwater Thickness Gauge and have an exclusive arrangement to sell our underwater equipment into Benelux.

 

June 2008 - New Underwater Thickness Gauge

Tritex NDT have launched their new Multigauge 3000 Underwater Thickness Gauge. The gauge uses multiple echo to ignore coatings, has intelligent probe recognition, automatic measurement verification system and a simple no-fuss upgrade option to a topside repeater.

 

The Multigauge 3000 underwater thickness meter is extremely robust to withstand the harsh environments that it is intended for. It is pressure tested to 500m and is supplied as a complete kit in a Peli case. More info>>>

 

June 2008 - Successful Seawork 2008 Exhibition

Tritex NDT exhibited their range of multiple echo ultrasonic thickness gauges at the recent Seawork 2008 exhibition in Southampton. The exhibition is aimed at small work boats and underwater diving and proved to be very successful. We received a huge amount of interest for our existing multigauge 5500 and 5600 gauges.

 

We also took the opportunity to launch our new Multigauge 3000 Underwater Thickness Meter which was well received. We had an extremely high level of interest in all of our range of thickness gauges and a number of orders have already been received.

 

April 2008 - New Probe Design

Our range of 13mm probes have been re-designed to reduce their weight and make them easier to hold when wearing gloves. The narrower body with extra knurling allows better grip, ensuring measurements can be more easily taken, whilst at the same time maintaining the robustness of the probe.

January 2008 - Fidgeon Ltd are chosen as new UK distributor

 

Tritex NDT have joined forces with Fidgeon Ltd to promote Tritex Multigauges into the UK industrial sector. Fidgeon Ltd have been well established in the UK NDT industry for more than 30 years and have a wealth of experience in the promotion and understanding of thickness gauging applications. With offices in the North East and sales people located around the UK, Fidgeon are well positioned, both geographically and technically, to offer Tritex customers a high level of support.

 

December 2007 - Website goes bilingual with the addition of pages in French

 

Tritex NDT have recently launched a new French language website demonstrating a commitment to serve the international NDT market. It is hoped to launch the website in other languages during the course of 2008.

November 2007 - Tritex NDT Attend ASNT Fall Conference in Las Vegas

 

Tritex NDT recently supported 3E NDT at the ASNT Fall conference in Las Vegas. The response to the new range of Multigauges was phenomenal with the two demonstration gauges being sold off the stand at the end of the show! It was clear that the American market is ready for a new type of thickness gauge that is simple, accurate and robust. Visitors, including many agents, from all over the USA showed specific interest in the new range.

 

October 2007 - New Distributor in South Africa

 

NDT equipment is widely used in South Africa in offshore, shipping and industrial applications. Tritex NDT have appointed BA Consultants, based in Kloof, who have extensive expertise in NDT inspection and the supply of NDT equipment into these markets. They were chosen because of their specific NDT knowledge and because they are well positioned to increase market share of Tritex gauges into their region.

 

October 2007 - New Distributor in Ireland

 

Tritex NDT’s new partner in Ireland is Alpha Technologies, who are Ireland and Northern Ireland's most innovative supplier of scientific, medical, environmental and process instrumentation and consumables. Their facilities are located in Larne, Dublin and Cork from which their sales and support personnel give local support throughout the island. One division of the company supplies equipment to Industrial markets which places them in a good position to fully promote and support the supply of our range of ultrasonic thickness meters.

September 2007 - Tritex NDT Setup New Distributor in Iran

 

Tritex NDT’s distributor network continues to grow with the appointment of a new distributor in Iran called Hirood Afzar Co. Hirood Afzar are well known for supplying measurement instrumentation to the oil & gas, chemical, steel, coal mine and fire fighting industries within Iran. With 8 internal and 32 field sales people they are well suited to offer customers a professional and prompt service.

June 2007 - Tritex NDT Setup New Distributor in Greece

 

Tritex NDT are pleased to announce a new distributor in the Greek shipping market. Northpoint Marine Ltd, based in Piraeus in the heart of the shipping industry, are a ship surveying company with many years experience in this specialized industry. April 2007 - Tritex NDT Launch Their New Range of Multigauges

 

Tritex NDT have launched their new range of Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges. The Multigauge range have been developed in line with the companies philosophy of providing accurate gauges that are both robust and simple to use.

 

Both gauges have new features such as AMVS, IPR and Coating Plus+.

 

April 2007 - Tritex NDT Move to Larger Premises

 

Tritex NDT have moved to new larger premises. The new offices are located on the same business park but with the added advantage of more room for manufacturing and office space.

 

The new unit will allow for the growth of the company now and in the future. Also, we are sharing offices with Marine Inspection Services, a marine surveying company who help us to maintain our close links to the shipping and marine industries.
