Mission Statement
Tritex NDT have developed a range of products using a wealth of experience and unique understanding of all aspects of  thickness gauging. Our technicians pioneered multiple echo into hand-held instruments in the early 1980’s. We understand the problems faced by customers in all applications in the field of NDT and we aim to provide the best possible solutions. Our knowledge has been applied to the design, manufacture and marketing of our products. Above all, Tritex is committed to respecting the environment by omitting the use of hazardous substances and materials in all our products by complying with the RoHS and WEEE directives.
Our use of the Multiple Echo Method ensures that protective coatings remain undamaged, therefore eliminating the need for costly replacement.

Also, we comply with the WEEE directive and will accept back, for safe disposal, any items supplied such as the batteries and LCD displays.


  1. Performance - The Multiple Echo technique used in Tritex Multigauges ensures accurate measurements can be achieved on heavily corroded metal, whether they are coated or not.   1. Manufactured to Standards - All gauges are already manufactured to, and comply with, the new standard of manufacturing Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges - BS EN 15317:2007. This standard covers the characterisation and verification of ultrasonic thickness measuring equipment to ensure they meet certain criteria of performance and build quality.


  1. 3 Year Warranty - We are confident that Tritex Multigauges are built to such exacting standards that we offer a 3 year warranty on all gauges in the range.


  1. Membranes and Single Crystal Probes - All probes have protective membranes which means that the probe should last the lifetime of the gauge. Membranes are easily replaceable and we supply spares with every kit. All probes use a single crystal which means that no specific alignment is required when measuring on curved or rounded surfaces. The gauges are not affected by V-beam error, instead they have perfect linear accuracy.
