Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges…
…that measure through coatings.
Tritex NDT are committed to providing quality Multiple Echo Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges to very high standards. We work closely with our stakeholders including customers, suppliers and employees to ensure we offer the best possible products and services to maintain customer satisfaction with minimal impact on the environment.
Tritex NDT have developed a range of products using a wealth of experience and unique understanding of all aspects of thickness gauging. Our technicians pioneered multiple echo into hand-held instruments in the early 1980’s. We understand the problems faced by customers in all applications in the field of NDT and we aim to provide the best possible solutions. Our knowledge has been applied to the design, manufacture and marketing of our products. Above all, Tritex is committed to respecting the environment by omitting the use of hazardous substances and materials in all our products by complying with the RoHS and WEEE directives.
Our use of the Multiple Echo Method ensures that protective coatings remain undamaged, therefore eliminating the need for costly replacement.
Tritex NDT is committed to ensuring that all customers are provided with the highest level of products and services from first contact and throughout the active life of the product. We are acutely aware of the value of after sales care.
Why buy a Tritex multigauge...?
...here are 12 reasons why...
- IPR - Intelligent Probe Recognition automatically adjusts settings in the gauge
at the same time as transmitting recognition data. The result is a perfectly matched
probe and gauge combination for enhanced and reliable performance.
- AMVS - Automatic Measurement Verification System ensures only true measurements are
displayed, even on the most heavily corroded metals.
- Modern & Robust - Tritex Multigauges not only look good but they are built to be
robust and durable enough to withstand severe treatment in harsh environments.
- Multiple Echo - All Tritex Multigauges use the Multiple Echo technique to completely
ignore coatings - just the substrate is measured. Using Coating Plus+, up to 20 mm
of coatings can be ignored, depending on the coating type.
- Ease of Use - The gauges are extremely easy to use with so many of the functions
automatically taken care of. For example, there is no zero adjustment, no need to
change probe settings and no adjustments are required at switch on.
- Quality - All gauges are carefully hand built and undergo rigorous quality testing
to ensure they meet the high standards expected by our customers, and provide them
with long term reliability.
- Customer Care - Tritex NDT are committed to ensuring that all customers are provided
with the highest level of products and services from first contact and throughout
the active life of the product. We are acutely aware of the value of after sales
care to all our customers.
- RoHS & WEEE Compliant - We are serious about our commitment to the environment and
as such, all Tritex Multigauges will not contain any prohibited or declarable substances
as specified under the RoHS directive, nor will these substances be used in the process
of manufacture. Also, we comply with the WEEE directive and will accept back, for
safe disposal, any items supplied such as the batteries and LCD displays.
- Performance - The Multiple Echo technique used in Tritex Multigauges ensures accurate
measurements can be achieved on heavily corroded metal, whether they are coated or
not. Equally, even on good metal, the simplicity of use and features of the gauges
should make Tritex Multigauges your first choice.
- Manufactured to Standards - All gauges are already manufactured to, and comply with,
the new standard of manufacturing Ultrasonic Thickness Gauges - BS EN 15317:2007.
This standard covers the characterisation and verification of ultrasonic thickness
measuring equipment to ensure they meet certain criteria of performance and build
quality.
- 3 Year Warranty - We are confident that Tritex Multigauges are built to such exacting
standards that we offer a 3 year warranty on all gauges in the range.
- Membranes and Single Crystal Probes - All probes have protective membranes which
means that the probe should last the lifetime of the gauge. Membranes are easily
replaceable and we supply spares with every kit. All probes use a single crystal
which means that no specific alignment is required when measuring on curved or rounded
surfaces. The gauges are not affected by V-beam error, instead they have perfect
linear accuracy.
